People are surprised when we say yes to a job in Wallingford. We’re based in Edgware, after all.

But after builders cleaning is different from a weekly clean. It’s a one-off, it’s planned around a finish date, and it usually lands at the point where you just want your home back. So we travel for it. Alongside London, we cover post-build cleans in:

The jobs we see most

Most post-build cleans outside London fall into a few types.

Single-storey rear extensions, often with a new kitchen, where dust has travelled right through the ground floor. Loft conversions, where dust comes down the new staircase and settles on every landing and bedroom below. Kitchen and bathroom refits, with grout haze, sealant smears and sticker residue on everything new. And whole-house refurbishments, including properties being got ready for sale or for new tenants.

Getting the timing right from a distance

Because we’re travelling, planning matters more.

Book once the builders have given you a firm finish date, and let us know if snagging work is still booked. We’d rather move the date than clean a room an electrician is about to go back into.

Tell us about parking. Some roads near town centres are permit-only, and a van needs somewhere to stop while equipment comes in and out.

And think about access. If you’re not living at the property, we’ll agree how keys are handed over and whether you’d like photos when we finish.
